Sellify started because a restaurant owner needed a till that understood a 2am sale belongs to last night, that Punjab files with PRA and Sindh with SRB, and that the internet goes down on a Friday.
Most point-of-sale software sold in Pakistan was written for a shop somewhere else. It arrives with a tax field bolted on, a calendar day that ends at midnight, and an assumption that the connection is always up. Everything that does not fit becomes a workaround somebody in your shop has to remember.
We started the other way round. The business day starts at 7am because that is when a restaurant's day starts. Tax is set per branch because a chain across two provinces answers to two authorities. The till sells with the router unplugged, because it will be. None of that is a feature we added later — it is the shape of the thing.
The other half is being strict about the figures. The browser never works out money; every total comes from the server, so two tills cannot arrive at two answers. A sale stores the tax rate it was sold at, so changing a rate next year never rewrites last year's bill. When the till cannot do something it says so in a sentence a cashier can read out — there are no dead buttons.
We are a small team and we answer the phone ourselves. If you ring us about a figure that looks wrong, you get somebody who can open the ledger and tell you exactly where it came from.

Your data is yours
Products, items, suppliers, stock — all export to Excel with the same columns the import reads. Leaving is never made difficult.
Nobody sees your business but you
Every table is scoped to your company at the database level, not by a query somebody remembered to write. One shop can never read another’s.
We do not sell your customers
Your customer book is yours. It is not shared, not sold, and no customer’s name or number is ever sent to an AI model.
We say when it will not fit
If your shop needs something Sellify does not do, we will tell you on the first call rather than after you have paid.
