What this covers
This page describes what Sellify stores when you use the software, and what this website collects when you visit it. It is written plainly on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ring us and ask.
What the website collects
Nothing until you send us something. If you fill in the demo form we store what you typed — your name, phone, business name, city, business type, number of outlets and your message — together with which page you sent it from. We use it to ring you back about Sellify and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anybody outside our team.
What Sellify stores for a customer
Your catalog, your stock, your sales, your staff records and your customer book. Every one of those rows is scoped to your company at the database level rather than by a query somebody remembered to write, so one business can never read another’s data.
Your customers’ details
When you record a customer’s name, phone or address, that belongs to your business. We do not use it, share it or sell it. The same phone number at a different company on Sellify is a different record that neither company can see — that is deliberate: one shop must not learn who else its customer buys from.
Artificial intelligence
Where you use Sellify’s AI features, no customer name, phone number or address is ever sent to the model. The tool layer strips those before anything leaves, so an answer says “Customer #412”, never a name. Salaries and staff meal costs are out of the AI’s reach entirely. The AI never touches your database directly — it can only read reports we already generate, inside your own company’s scope.
Passwords, PINs and tokens
Passwords and approval PINs are stored as one-way hashes and can never be read back, by us or by anybody else. Credentials for tax authority integrations are stored encrypted and are never returned to a browser or a device. A device that pairs with Sellify derives its own offline verifier on the device itself — no credential hash ever leaves our server.
Where it is kept
On our servers. Backups are taken regularly. We will tell you, without being asked, if data you hold with us is ever exposed.
Getting your data out
Products, items, suppliers and stock export to Excel with the same columns the import reads, at any time, without asking us. If you close your account and want everything else, ask and we will provide it.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics that follow you around. The Sellify application itself stores a sign-in token and your device’s own settings in your browser, because it cannot work otherwise.
