PRA integrated POS software for restaurants in Punjab (E-IMS)

PRA now expects every restaurant, café and food chain in Punjab to hand the customer a digital receipt carrying a PRA invoice number and QR code. Sellify’s PRA connection files each bill with PRA’s electronic invoice system and prints both on the receipt.

What PRA asks for

The rule, in plain words

PRA’s Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (E-IMS) applies to restaurants, cafés, hotels and food chains registered with PRA. In August 2026 PRA published guidelines saying a customer’s receipt must be digital, issued after payment, and show the PRA invoice number and QR code — and that kitchen orders, pre-bills and temporary bills are not valid receipts. Check PRA’s current notification for whether your business is covered.

  • A digital receipt, after payment

The bill the customer takes away is printed by the system once they have paid.

  • PRA invoice number and QR code

Plus the order, the tax rate, the amount before tax and the total, so the customer can check it.

  • Your name, address and PNTN

The receipt names the business it was issued by, with its Punjab tax number.

  • No kitchen orders or pre-bills as receipts

A slip sent to the kitchen or a bill printed before payment is not a receipt under PRA’s rules.

PRA in Sellify today

Built

Built and switched on per branch. Our live filing today is with SRB; PRA runs on the same platform as FBR.

The authority’s rules change. Check the current notification with PRA for your own business — Sellify files what you sell; it does not decide whether you must.

What Sellify does

PRA filing, without a second system

The same till that rings the sale reports it. Nothing is exported, uploaded at month end or typed twice.

Every branch files with its own authority

A branch in Lahore files with PRA and one in Karachi with SRB, each under its own NTN and STRN. A chain across provinces is one Sellify account, not two systems.

The rate is yours to type

Cash and card rates are set per branch. When a rate changes you edit it yourself — you do not wait for us to ship an update.

The number and the QR are on the receipt

The invoice number the authority returns and its QR code print at the foot of the bill, with the authority’s own logo beside it.

A kitchen slip is not a bill

Sellify’s kitchen slips carry no prices and say KITCHEN PRINT across the top, so a cook’s slip can never be handed to a customer as a receipt.

A sale is never lost because the authority was slow

The money is taken and the receipt prints. An invoice the authority did not answer is shown on the Orders screen and is sent again with one tap.

No internet? It still sells

The till keeps selling offline. The invoice is filed the moment that sale reaches Sellify, and any reprint carries the number.

The tax report matches what was filed

The tax report reads the same figures that were sent, so your return and the authority’s record of your invoices cannot quietly disagree.

The Sellify Orders screen: every sale with its tax and total
Every sale with its tax, on the Orders screen — where an invoice the authority did not answer is sent again.

What to know before you file with PRA

Our live PRA customers are still to come

The PRA connection is built on PRAL’s platform, the same one FBR uses. Our live filing today is with SRB in Sindh. We would rather say so than claim a customer we do not have.

We do not register you with PRA

Your PRA registration and E-IMS credentials come from PRA. We enter them per branch and test the first invoice with you.

Check the rate with PRA

Sellify starts you with placeholder cash and card rates. Confirm the rates that apply to you before going live.

Questions

What shop owners ask us

What is PRA E-IMS?

The Punjab Revenue Authority’s Electronic Invoice Monitoring System. A restaurant’s POS sends each invoice to PRA as it is issued, PRA returns an invoice number, and the receipt carries that number and a PRA QR code.

Are kitchen slips and pre-bills allowed?

Not as the customer’s receipt. PRA’s August 2026 guidelines say kitchen orders, unpaid bills, pre-bills and temporary bills must not be given to customers as receipts.

Can I charge different rates for cash and card?

Yes. Each branch has a cash rate and a card rate, and the payment method picks the rate. A split payment blends the two by how much is paid each way.

Does it work when the internet is down?

The till keeps selling. The invoice is filed with PRA as soon as that sale reaches Sellify, and a reprint carries the PRA number.
