FBR integrated POS software for retailers in Pakistan
Tier-1 retailers have to report every sale to FBR as it is made, with FBR’s invoice number and QR code on the receipt. Sellify’s FBR connection sends each invoice through FBR’s POS system and prints both — on the same till that scans barcodes and keeps your stock.
What FBR asks for
The rule, in plain words
FBR requires Tier-1 retailers, as the Sales Tax Act defines them, to integrate their point of sale with FBR, and sales tax on services in the Islamabad Capital Territory is also collected by FBR. Each counter is registered with FBR and receives a POS ID; the POS then reports every invoice in real time. Which retailers count as Tier-1 is set by FBR — check the current rules with FBR or your tax adviser.
A POS ID for each counter
Each till is registered with FBR and reports under its own POS ID.
Every invoice reported in real time
The sale reaches FBR as it is made, not in a monthly upload.
FBR invoice number and QR on the receipt
The customer can check the invoice with FBR’s app by scanning the code.
Your NTN and STRN on the bill
Each branch prints its own, or the company’s where a branch has none.
FBR in Sellify today
Built and switched on per branch. Our live filing today is with SRB; FBR runs on the same platform as PRA.
The authority’s rules change. Check the current notification with FBR for your own business — Sellify files what you sell; it does not decide whether you must.
What Sellify does
FBR filing, without a second system
The same till that rings the sale reports it. Nothing is exported, uploaded at month end or typed twice.
Barcode, stock and FBR on one till
Scan, sell, and the shelf comes down — the same sale is the one reported to FBR. No second system to reconcile.
Every branch files with its own authority
A branch in Lahore files with PRA and one in Karachi with SRB, each under its own NTN and STRN. A chain across provinces is one Sellify account, not two systems.
The rate is yours to type
Cash and card rates are set per branch. When a rate changes you edit it yourself — you do not wait for us to ship an update.
The number and the QR are on the receipt
The invoice number the authority returns and its QR code print at the foot of the bill, with the authority’s own logo beside it.
A sale is never lost because the authority was slow
The money is taken and the receipt prints. An invoice the authority did not answer is shown on the Orders screen and is sent again with one tap.
No internet? It still sells
The till keeps selling offline. The invoice is filed the moment that sale reaches Sellify, and any reprint carries the number.
The tax report matches what was filed
The tax report reads the same figures that were sent, so your return and the authority’s record of your invoices cannot quietly disagree.

Straight answers
What to know before you file with FBR
Our live FBR customers are still to come
The FBR connection is built on PRAL’s platform, which PRA uses too. Our live filing today is with SRB. We would rather say so than claim a customer we do not have.
We do not register you with FBR
Your POS IDs and token come from FBR. We set them into Sellify per branch and test the first invoice with you.
Tier-1 status is FBR’s decision
Whether you must integrate depends on FBR’s rules for your business — ask FBR or your tax adviser. Sellify files whether or not you are required to.
Questions
What shop owners ask us
Who has to integrate with FBR?
Tier-1 retailers as FBR defines them, and businesses whose sales tax FBR collects, such as services in the Islamabad Capital Territory. Check the current rules with FBR for your business.
Do I need new hardware for FBR integration?
No special machine. Sellify runs on a Windows PC, an Android tablet, a Sunmi terminal or a browser, and the FBR invoice prints on your ordinary thermal receipt printer.
What does the customer see?
The FBR invoice number and QR code at the foot of the receipt. Scanning the code lets them check the invoice was reported.
I have shops in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Is that one authority?
Not necessarily — Rawalpindi is in Punjab. In Sellify each branch picks its own authority, so one account can file each branch where it belongs.
