Knowing where you stand

Insights (AI)

Menu: Reporting → Insights · Who: owner, branch manager

Plain-language help built on your own reports. If the page says AI is not switched on for your company, ask us to enable it — an owner cannot turn it on themselves.

What it will and will not do

  • It never sees your database. To answer a question it asks for a report by name and a date range; the report runs inside your company's own scope and it writes the sentences around the figures.
  • It never does arithmetic. Every number comes from the same reports you can open yourself.
  • Customer names and phone numbers never leave. They are stripped before anything is sent, so an answer says "Customer #412" and never a name.

Ask about your data

Type a question and press Ask:

  • "How much did we take today?"
  • "What sold best last week?"
  • "How does this month compare with last month?"

Under the answer it tells you which report it looked up. If the reports cannot answer the question, it says so rather than guessing.

Daily summary

Yesterday against the same weekday last week, the best and worst sellers, and anything that looks off — discounts creeping up, food cost drifting. A restaurant's summary includes food cost; a shop's includes margin.

Press Generate to write one now, or ask us to switch on automatic summaries — then it is written by itself each time a day is closed, and is waiting for you in the morning.

Reorder suggestions

What is running out and how much to buy. These quantities are arithmetic, not the AI's opinion:

used per day = everything that left the shelf ÷ days looked at
days left = what is on hand ÷ used per day
order = (cover you want + supplier lead time − days left) × used per day

Two settings drive it, per branch: Supplier lead time (days) and Stock cover to keep (days) in Settings → Inventory. The AI only orders the list and explains it; the table under the text is the real figure to act on. Items already covered past the next delivery are not listed at all.

Campaign ideas

Two or three offers read off the last 30 days — quiet days, quiet hours, categories that already sell. It writes the idea; you create the campaign on the Campaigns page. It never launches an offer by itself.

What it costs you

Top right shows tokens used this month out of your allowance. When the allowance runs out the feature stops until the 1st rather than billing on. Insights are stored, so re-opening the page costs nothing — only pressing Generate or Ask does.
