Where card, wallet and transfer money actually lands. A Z report that says "Wallet Rs 12,000" cannot tell you how much of it was Easypaisa and how much JazzCash, and a single "Bank" in the books cannot be matched against two banks' statements. So every card machine, wallet and bank you take money into is its own row here.

Rename Bank to your real bank ("Meezan 0123") and add the rest.

Adding one

New account, then pick the kind:

  • Wallet — Easypaisa, JazzCash, SadaPay, NayaPay. It gets its own account in the books, so its statement can be matched on its own.
  • Bank transfer — one of your bank accounts. It also gets its own account in the books.
  • Card machine — say which bank its takings are paid into. A card machine has no account of its own: the money sits in that bank, and that bank's statement is what the card takings have to agree with. Two machines paying into two banks are two rows.

At the till

  • A kind appears only when you keep at least one account of it — a shop with no bank account here sees no Bank transfer button.
  • With more than one of a kind, the till asks which, with your default already picked.
  • The Transaction ID is optional. Type it if the customer shows you the message; leave it blank otherwise.
  • It works on a till with no internet too: the list rides in the offline menu.

Tax

Every digital payment is taxed at the card rate — card, wallet and bank transfer alike. Cash, and a sale put on a khata, are taxed at the cash rate. Which account of a kind you pick never changes the rate.

Deleting

An account that has taken money cannot be deleted — switch it off instead. A bank that a card machine pays into cannot be deleted until the machine points at another bank. Writing a deleted name again brings the account back, as the same kind.

What it does not do yet

  • Moving money between your own accounts — Easypaisa withdrawn to the bank, cash deposited — has no screen yet.
  • Expenses and supplier payments paid "from the bank" still post to your default bank; they do not yet ask which one.
  • Khata receipts (money a customer pays against their account) do not yet ask which wallet or bank either.
